Listing Description

I am 43 and my wife is 40. We have been married for 12 years. We have three children beautiful children ages 14, 12 and 8. We are college graduates and have been employed with the County of Los Angeles for the past 17 years. We have owned our home for the past four years and have paid all of our bills in a timely manner.  In 1997 I filed for bankruptcy and have been working diligently to improve my credit rating. My bankruptcy will be removed from my credit file in December of 2007.   Eight months ago my wife fractured her foot. She has been disabled and unable to work. She has exhausted all of her vacation and sick pay and is currently receiving less than fifty percent of her regular salary. Her disability has caused a financial hardship. We have exhausted all of our financial reserves (personal savings, stocks, children’s savings accounts) and have been relying on our credit cards to assist us in maintaining our household.    At this present time we have fallen behind in mortgage payments, credit card, car payments and insurance payments.  This loan will help us get caught up on our  outstanding bills, help consolidate our debt and reduce our monthly payments. This loan will also provide us with and emergency cushion to help us assess, manage and budget our monthly expenses.   My wife health is improving. She is currently participating in weekly physical therapy sessions and will be returning to work in the next few weeks. This loan will  further help to stabilize my family while my wife transitions back to her job.
