Listing Description

About me: I am a 30yo, single, hard-working professional and I work full-time in the health care industry at the job I've held for 5 years. I bought a house in the beginning of 2006 and was probably close to being a D or even a C rating until just recently. I think I am pretty close to an E right now, in fact. If my state would allow me to pay you 29% interest, I would be glad to do so.  Alas, I am limited...but I can pay you back faster so that your capital can be free sooner for reinvestment.

What Happened: After I purchased my home, I was on a great path and working toward my debt goals until disaster struck. My brother and and my boyfriend lost their jobs around the same time and on my salary, I've been supporting 5 extra people. I was paying for food/transportation/etc for my BF and was buying groceries and paying some monthly bills for my bro and his family. They have both recently gotten back to work and I am simply needing a boost to return to where I once was with my debt-elimination plan. They will be paying me back when it is feasible for them. The majority of the delinquincies on my reports have occurred in just the last few months. Anything older than that I have resolved and am in the process of working to expunge. I stumbled across Prosper's site and this seemed like a brilliant way to consolidate my finances. My CC interest rates are high again due to slow pays/late pays over the last 3 months and my balances are back near their maximums. I will pay this loan off in about a year or less and I'd like to become a lender as soon as possible. I can guarantee you that my payments will be on time every month and I will be making 2 or 3 extra payments per month.

Loan Details:
I'm requesting a loan for $1895 to do the following:
-$1200 to catch up 1st, 2nd mtg and utlities that are all running about a month or so behind...
-$695 to help pay off 1 credit card (Capital One w/balance of $250), and to pay down the balances on my two others (Aspire w/balance of $900, and HSBC with balance of $2900). Part of my debt-elim/credit score improvement plan includes getting these cards paid off as quickly as possible, so I will budget $100 (more if I can spare it) to that each month.

Income and Expenses:
Annual Salary: 32300
Monthly net income:
$1660 (after all deductions, incl savings acct, FSA, 401K, and stock purchases)
Mortgage1st/2nd: $610/$158 (Includes T&I)
HELOC: $115
Phone: $65
Cable Modem: $40
Car Ins and Gas: $44
Elec/Water/Gas: approx $100/mo (avg monthly billing on util)
Food/Entertainment: $125
Balance on CC's: $100
=Total Expenses: $1357

Balance=$303 to pay my Prosper loan of $70.42

In Conclusion: As you can see...with your help, once I am back at square one, I can easily move forward with my plan. Ideally, this loan will be paid off in a year or less. I do not have a lot of debt...I don't waste money on 900 cable channels and other such things, I live 2 minutes from work, so a tank of gas will last me a month or more. I try to be pretty practical, and I know that you are too. After the end of Feb, I am also planning on refinancing my home to lower my mortgage payments, so that will free up even more of my income. Thank you in advance for your consideration and for who you are and what you do.  Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Best wishes to you and yours.
