Listing Description

I have been a teacher in the Covina Valley Unified School District for twenty years.  Nearly fourteen years ago, with my agreement and support, my wife quit her job in order to be a stay at home mom.  Since then I have carried the burden for my family's support, which I have done gladly.  Living on one income though, has been difficult.  Unexpected car repairs, dental expenses not covered by insurance, etc. have made it difficult to save, especially  for the summer months.  Then along comes summer, and I fall behind on my bills.  Then in the fall and winter I have to play catch up.  Just when my accounts are current, along comes another unexpected and untimely expense or two.  And so it goes year after year. Another summer comes, and I have nothing saved. I earn a good income, and I hate what I’ve done to my credit history.  Worse, I hate what this is doing to my family.  I am seeking this loan to get on my feet financially - to come out of the summer months not in the hole. Here is my current monthly budget: Income (from CVUSD) $6230 Expenses Rent 1100 Utilities 500 Grocery 800 Gas 150 Mervyns 30 Sears 150 HSBC Retail 80 HSBC Master Card 80 Bank of Amer. 80 Capital One 130 Citi Financial 250 American General 250 Beneficial 300 Cash Call 200 Applied Bank 150 Allowances 800 Prosper Loan?   140 Net $1040 This Prosper Loan would be used to get my delinquent accounts current and would allow me to begin saving my net income - to be have money for the unexpected and to put money away for the summer months.
