Hello,   My main purpose in wishing to secure this loan is to pay down my large high interest credit card charges.  As a result I wish to improve my credit score and reduce principal with a fixed term loan.   If you go by the numbers I would be regarded as having a poor credit score.  However – that is deceiving.  Two of my children had cars repossessed for which I was a co-signer on which destroyed my credit rating.  Other than high balances my credit history over the past 10 years shows an excellent payment record.   I did not get into this situation by unwise decision making.  My wife (now deceased) was ill for many years and because of her preexisting condition I could not obtain medical insurance for her – even through my employers.  Therefore I ran up thousands of dollars in medical bills.  I also was stuck with the remaining balances on my children’s car loans.   Despite that I have paid a large amount off through the years.  I am to the point, however,   where I would like to retire the balance of the debt over a specific period of time while hopefully saving a few dollars every month through the consolidation.   As of the present I live with my fiance I do not pay rent or mortgage payments.  I was a homeowner for 27 years and used the proceeds on the sale of my former home to pay down some of the debt.  Now I would like to take care of the rest.   I have 2 jobs with total income of $45,000 plus and can provide proof of my income.   Any consideration on your part would,be greatly appreciated.   Thank you!!
