This loan will be used to start my first classroom.  I recently was offered my first full time teaching position in third grade.  I want to give my students the best learning environment possible.  The district that I will be working in doesn't provide the teachers with very much money for their classrooms.  I will be buying grade level books, manipulatives used for math and science, and basic supplies.  Most of my students come from a low income home and I want to be able to provide with a great classroom full of resources.

My debt:  A large majority of my debt is student loans.  My parents are immigrants to this country, and worked hard all my life, but I needed to take out loans to pay for my education.  I've done a great job of managing my finances so far, and I know I can keep it up.

My Income:  Right now my income is listed as zero, but I am employed.  I am teaching summer school.  This past year I worked as a teaching assistant.  I can provide you with the contract that shows my future employment (which starts in the middle of august) and it also states my yearly salary ($37,000).  I live with my parents, so I don't pay rent.  They also pay for my food.  My expenses are my student loans, which are around $400 a month.  As you can see I have few expenses, so I will be able to make my payments very easily.

I am a good candidate for this loan because I am very responsible and manage my money well.  I don't have any delinquencies, and my credit rating is getting better and better all the time.  I want this loan so I don't have to ask my family for any money.  They already do so much for me; I want to be able to fund my new classroom on my own.
