Listing Description

Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to pay off all three credit cards that I used for gasoline, dental bills (two years ago) and a lot of stuff for when we moved into our first home.  I anticipated that I'd be able to get a second mortgage to pay off the credit cards six months after we moved in, but all of you know what happened to the housing market in the last year.  While I can currently afford to pay all my bills (I've overpaid a little bit on all of them for years), I want to have a fixed rate loan with a solid end in sight.

My financial situation:
My financial situation is solid due to being in a long-term stable relationship, having excellent health and working for nearly five years at a job I can perform even if I become disabled.  I'm a guy who likes to prepare for every eventuality and have life insurance to cover anything unfortunate, disability insurance in case I'm too severely disabled to move from bed and a good family to help back me up during trying times.  What I didn't account for was how soon my fiance wanted to start a family (trying in two years), so I want to be debt free in the next few years so I can focus on the stress of children more than the stress of finances.  I know that you can never be financially ready for children (my mother reminds me of this often while asking for grandchildren), but I want to do my best as a man to be prepared.

I am a generally frugal guy and actually quite boring.  When I'm not working customer service at a hospital (which constantly reminds me of how fortunate I am), I'm at home writing another fictional story or trying to figure out how to humanely keep the bunnies out of my strawberry patch.  My fiance and I are also getting married for the first time in a few weeks beneath an eight foot pergola we built in our yard and painted together.  All of the expenses for the small, intimate wedding are paid for already and I look forward to the next step in life together.  We don't need much right now besides each other and to continue comfortably paying our bills.  The latter provides us with a pride that is hard to describe.

Down below you will notice the truck payment.  We refer to it as our beautiful, yellow, yard sculpture since it rarely moves from our driveway.  We commute to work together every day in her little VW to save money.  Thankfully we work within a few miles of each other and both locations will never be relocated due to their nature and business type.  While I miss my truck, I enjoy not filling the tank at $4 a gallon and using the money toward paying down credit cards instead.

I really do appreciate you looking at this listing and please consider it.  While we could turn to family for a loan that we would never have to repay- both of us refuse to let anyone pay our way.  Our hard work has provided us with a good home, good vehicles and a good life together.  The credit card debt is my responsibility and I want to make sure that every dime of it comes out of my own pocket.  Please help me meet this goal and thank-you.
