Listing Description

Dear Prosper Lenders,

Thank you for considering my loan application.  The loan would allow me to consolidate high compound interest credit card debt and bring a tremendous sense of relief.

I am a good candidate because I am a responsible hard-working professional employed by the federal government.  I make a good income.  I am also a homeowner and my car is paid off.  The credit card debt is attributed to medical expenses, home repairs, and travel.  Unfortunately, I can't consolidate because of the credit card debt and the impact on my credit score.  I seem to keep going in circles.

Over two years ago, I had to go through a series of medical tests.  I had a significant lump removed from my breast. I was blessed, it was benign!.  I paid the hospital and doctor bills that were not covered by my insurance with credit because I had just purchased my first home.  Of course, this is also when I made some updates on the home (new stove and microwave), got new brakes, and had the opportunity to go to Italy.  I used miles for the airfare and some of the other expenses went on the credit card.  I had expected to clear the debt right away but with the kind of interest rates that I am paying, it has been very challenging.  If I get this loan I am hoping to put more aside and hopefully take my sister and niece on a trip somewhere and put the rest in my savings.

Thank you!
