About us:This group is dedicated to the outstanding students and alumni of SFSU’s College of Education who are dedicated to being the best teachers for the children of San Francisco. Making a living on a teacher’s salary in San Francisco is brutal. Teachers in San Francisco are vastly underpaid for the value they bring to our community versus the cost of living in the Bay Area. Nonetheless, they are our hope for competing in a global, “flat” economy. In fact, these are the people that made this group and this site possible.
