Why is the prosper data not being updated daily….as of 13 July (today) the data in here is from 9 July!

onisem: The nightly update was being updated during that period of time, if you check now its fully functioning again.
ryan, james, etc.: I’m actually traveling right now in China right now, really sorry for the lack of updates. The economic weakness in the US is pretty profound in China as well. Did I mention the irrational exuberance that existed during the .com is being replicated as well?

Lendingstats, how do you feel about using Prosper’s portfolio plans as a general strategy? Do you think the returns they estimate to be accurate?

I can’t comment on the estimated returns but I can say that at a glance the risk/reward ratio doesn’t seem good. For example, the Conservative Plan offers returns of 5.41% on a 3 year loan while a 3 year CD is currently going for 4.5%+.
